Girls' Track Team Finishing up an Historic Season!!

The Jimtown Girls' Track team has had an historic season. Many accomplishments and records have been broken. Here are a few: Team Champs at the Dennis Rippey Invite, Eastern Relays, and Co-ed Classic. 2nd place at Conference. Most points ever scored at a sectional with 48 The 4 by 100 team of Kylie Wiegand, Promisse Ruffin, Terrisha Bennett, and Khloie Smith breaking the school record..again with a 49.10 time. Brooklyn King broke the Shot Put school record at the Conference meet with a throw of 44' 4.5", the Sectional meet record with a throw of 41'8" and set the school record in Discus with a throw 126'9". The 4 by 100 team, Brooklyn King (shot and discus), Kylie Wiegand (100 & 200), Jeishy Lopez-Villafane (400), and Cam Schwartz (3200) will all compete in Regionals at Goshen next Tuesday. Already this season we have had two other school records broken - 100 was broke by Kylie Wiegand with a time of 12.29 and the 200 was broke by Terrisha Bennett with a time of 25.93. Go Jimmies and way to go Girls' Track on an outstanding season!!
